While there are tons of people that have unique names, mine is not the name given to me at birth. The name I go by in cyberspace is an homage to my mother. My father called her Darcia Maria Sweety Darlin, so since she taught me to sew, it was only appropriate to name my company after her, therefore my name.
I am a mother, seamstress, contractor, girlfriend, superhero, and generally awesome person. I have a regular 8 to 5 and dream eat and sleep sewing. I am easily distracted by shiny dresses and wish all I did was play with fabric and couture dresses all day long, everyday!
I hand make all of the garments and design a large percentage of them.
